The surf instrumental "Wipe Out" by Glendora, California band The Surfaris goes to No. 2 U.S., No. 5 U.K. The song later charts in the Top 10 again in 1966 and goes on to sell over a million copies. The single's B-Side "Surfer Joe" also charts at No. 62 U.S.
