Yesterday

The Beatles

The Beatles are No. 1 in the U.S. for four weeks with the single "Yesterday", a solo outing by Paul McCartney backed only by a string quartet. Not released as a single in the U.K., the song becomes one of the most covered songs in recorded music history.
