The Allman Brothers

Debut Album

The self-titled debut album from Macon, Georgia band The Allman Brothers is released, but barely cracks the U.S. Top 100 Albums. Recorded in two weeks at Atlantic Records' New York studio, the album includes one of the band's best known songs "Whipping Post".
