Proud Mary

Creedence Clearwater Revival

Creedence Clearwater Revival hit No. 2 in the U.S. and U.K. with the single "Proud Mary". It is the first of five CCR singles that peak at No. 2 in the U.S. although they never hit No. 1. Though from California, the group has a southern roots, swamp rock sound.
