The Modern Lovers

Debut Album

The self-titled debut album by Boston band The Modern Lovers is released. Based on tracks recorded in 1972 for both the A&M and Warner Brothers labels, neither of which end up signing the band, the album doesn't chart, but is influential in ’70s punk.
