The Pretenders

U.K. band The Pretenders break into the U.S. Top 10 for the first time with the single "Back On The Chain Gang" No. 5 U.S. The single was recorded after the firing of bassist Pete Farndon for drug problems, followed by the overdose death of guitarist James Honeyman-Scott.
