Nirvana Unplugged

MTV

Grunge stars Nirvana play the Sony Music Studios in NYC for a recording of MTV Unplugged. Rather than covering their hits, the band plays lesser known cuts and covers from David Bowie, Leadbelly and The Meat Puppets among others. The concert is later released as both a DVD and a No. 1 album.
