Daydream Believer

The Monkees

Despite negative press calling them the "Pre-Fab Four" for using only studio musicians on their records, The Monkees hit No. 1 U.S., No. 5 U.K. with the single "Daydream Believer". It is their third and final U.S. No. 1 single and their fourth U.K. Top 10 hit.
